Biography
Daniel J. Meyer (Buenos Aires, 1982) is a playwright, theatre director, and teacher based in Barcelona for over 20 years. Author of A.K.A. (Also Known As) —translated into 10 languages, published and internationally awarded—, UPPGIVENHET (TNC, 2023), SCRATCH, LLEGAT, and SHOÀ. In 2024 he received the Valencia City- Eduardo Escalante award for ¿I ARA QUÈ FAREM? (Ed. Bromera). His plays have been staged across Europe and the Americas and continue to be translated due to their international impact. He is preparing Artiga for the 2025/26 season and new theatre and narrative works. He has also worked on musicals and teaches playwriting.

- 2 Hugo Awards (Argentina) for Best Adaptation (to a musical) and Best Emerging Actor.
